I tried this again today after reading your earlier post and my opinion is not changed. Look at he comparisons at 100% magnification and inspect the shadow area specifically- I see a clear difference and improvement with the new stuff. I see subtle but better enhacements in the sample you proivided, especially in the shadow details and suspect that if the original images were provided, others would see these also. I work on images that are 8x10 and at 300 dpi and when doing sid-by side comaprisons of your actions vs these new plugins, there clearly is an improvment your actions simply do not deliver. The new stuff by AKVIS and other software creators is a additional step in the eveolution of image enhacement. I believe but am not sure they may have been described by Julianne Kost on some tutorials psoted on the net ages ago-I have used them with success-they do work.
