![]() ![]() This is the mode where you can create your own player and watch him grow from a high school standout to a college superstar. Comment on this video Watch this video in High Def In either case, it’s disappointing to start up a mode in NCAA Football 11 and find that little has changed, and there’s no greater offender than the Road to Glory mode. There are some small changes to be found, some of which don’t amount to much more than window dressing while others succeed in making their associated modes more engaging. ![]() This year, EA Sports took a different approach with NCAA Football 11 by focusing more on beefing up on-field action than on making major in-game upgrades to supplementary modes like Road to Glory.īut, that’s not to say these preexisting modes–those transferred from last year to this year–are completely neglected. NCAA Football 10 made some significant strides last year by introducing some entertaining new modes and reworking old ones to flesh out the entire college football experience. One cool feature that they should do is a superstar mode like they do in NCAA football games. Game play is still very good and it has the impact moments which i don’t remember being there in 08/09 maybe in 08.Īll in all i still like 07 much better then 08/09 and I hope that in MM10 they continue to make the gameplay on the court even better and more realistic than before but htey keep the dynasty mode simple and user friendly. Recruiting is overall solid in the game and uses the pipeline system very well to help recruiting if your a smaller school and rewards you for staying close to home with recruits. March Madness 07 shows the teams picture clearly and shows the title and shows their record. Not the biggest deal but after doing 30 years of a dynasty and having to do that every game it gets very annoying. So you barely get an idea of who you’re palying and you have to leave the calendar to check the team’s record. Instead of showing a big team picture and “Next game against so and so” and the team’s record it’s a ticket stub and you can barely see the icon of the team you are playing against. The new calendar/schedule is incovenient. ![]() They bring it back in 09 but my main dislike in 09 is the dynasty mode. In 07 you can do it and in 08 you can only add a set more amount of points to a generic setup depending on the position. In MM08 you can’t do as much with create a player which I love to create a 99 superstar and throw him on awful teams to see what he can do with them. ![]() MM08 and MM09 each had flaws I did not liek about it that MM07 doesn not have. I recommend this game to any college basketball fan.Īs a big dynasty guy I love this version. Taking a school that many don’t regard highly and taking them into the Tourney up against Duke or Connecticut is a great feeling. The biggest thing in this game is the Dynasty Mode, its very deep and compelling and very immersive. Under the hood it plays very similarly to NBA Live 2004, if you are used to the NBA Live series, you should have no issue jumping right in. Luckily you can turn to the commentary off. College Basketball Richard Vitale is at his exuberant best and you will be certain to hear “It’s Awesome Baby, with a Capital A!” and “PTPers” and “He’s a High Riser, He’s the Elevator Man!” a lot, if you aren’t a fan of Vitale this is a game that might be a turn off. There’s Dynasty Mode where you can make college football dynasty and then import players over to NBA Live 2004 and oversee their pro careers, which was a new feature at the time. There is an option to “Ask the Coach” where NCAA coaches of the time teach you basics of the game and give tips to the player. NCAA March Madness is probably the deepest experience of college basketball you could ever ask for. This was the best simulation of college basketball for a long time. ![]()
